We offer sessions in individual, couples, groups and family formats in order to provide a range of settings to best address clients' issues, circumstances and needs. Additionally, we offer various counsellor training and continuing professional development programmes.

Communication, Relationships & Sex

An eight week programme for a group of six men and women to talk about communication, friendships and relationships in a safe and confidential environment.

Gay Men’s Therapy Group

A weekly, ongoing therapy group for gay men of any age, race and culture.

Aims: To co-create a safe and confidential environment in which to explore various emergent issues, including coming out, difficulties with relationships and intimacy, sexuality, addictions and obsessions, depression, self-esteem, and homophobia

Time: 10 Tuesday evenings 7:30pm-9:30pm, starting 12th September 2006
Venue: The Awareness Centre, 41 Abbeville Road, Clapham, London, SW4 9JX
Fees: The fee is £30 per session for each person and subject to annual review. Once accepted into the group a non-refundable deposit of £120.00 (four sessions) is required in advance. You may then choose to pay every four weeks either by cash or cheque. If you have not previously worked with either facilitator before you will be required to attend an initial 50-minute interview (for a fee of £15).


The Facilitators: Gill Sanders and Paul Croal
Paul Croal, BSc is an Integrative and Transpersonal psychotherapist. He runs a private practice in Stockwell and at the Awareness Centre. His therapeutic interests include substance misuse and working with young people.
